If he does not expect to meet a tongue-tied stripling wanting manners and conduct then he is intrigued when his visit causes Phoebe to flee her home. ... Far From The Madding Crowd - (DVD) Far from The Madding Crowd is an evocative and sumptuous new adaption of Thomas Hardy's classic novel set in the 19th century. It is an acclaimed successor to the original feature film over 30 years ago. Introducing newcomer Palma Baeza who co-stars with Nathaniel Parker (Vanity Fair) Jonathan Firth (Middlemarch) and Nigel Terry (Wycliff). It is a passionate and destructive tale with all the familiar Hardy themes of betrayal and the pain of love yet it is also one of his warmest and most humorous works... ... Warpath 7: Night Bomber John Smith a 19-year-old flight engineer has survived two horrific crashes in which his crewmates were killed or badly injured. He's seen as bad luck and struggles to be accepted. Things get worse when his plane is badly damaged on a mission. ... Who Moved My Cheese? A simple parable that reveals profound truths about change. An amusing and enlightening story of four characters who live in a maze and look for cheese to nourish them and make them happy. 'Cheese' is a metaphor for what you want to have in your life and the maze is where you look for it. ... School Of Rock School of Rock is a melodious feel-good comedy which sees Jack Black play a frustrated rocker ‘front man’ who gives rock a reason and a rhyme by teaching a motley class of children how to "stick it to the man" with the power of music. Black plays unemployed slob and hell raising guitarist Dewy Finn who needs to make a few fast bucks after being kicked out of his rock band. Posing as his reformed rocker-come substitute teacher flatmate he falls into teaching a class of prepubescent stiffs. After over hearing the kids practice in their school orchestra Finn decides to teach the kids “the power of rock” and fulfil his life long dream of entering the Battle of the Bands competition. Black’s performance is a comic tornado of extreme hair and sweaty rock flip-outs that displays his unique style of hyperactive humour perfectly. Richard Linklater’s (Dazed & Confused Waking Life) direction does not try to curb Black’s performance but simply allows the interaction with the young music pupils to amplify the full range of his comedy skills; and to great effect. The movie has a superb soundtrack including Led Zepplin AC/DC and The Who which Black uses to enthuse his pupils with the same love for rock that he has. The obvious affection for the music of the genre held by both director and star and the genuine enthusiasm the entire film has for its subject-matter creates a sparkling comedy that is refreshing and highly addictive. This energetic film will have everyone singing from the same hymn sheet – kids families and of course hardened Jack Black fans will all love the vivacious madness Black undoubtedly brings to this movie. DVD special features include: Commentary by Actor Jack Black and Director Richard Linklater Commentary by the Kids from the School of Rock Lessons Learned In The School of Rock Jack Black’s Pitch to Led Zepplin School of Rock Music Video Kids Video Diary MTV Diary: Jack Black ... WHSmith - At a Glance

WHSmith is the UK's number one family retailer selling a range of products that extends across education, entertainment and information. Each year WHSmith High Street stores sell enough pens to circle the earth; enough books to fill a library shelf from London to Edinburgh; and enough paper to write a letter to everyone in the world. WH Smith also sell 122 million magazines and newspapers each year - enough to make a pile 69 times taller than Mount Everest.

The first High Street store was a small news vendor opened in 1792 in Little Grosvenor Street, London, by Henry Walton Smith and his wife Anna. Today, WHSmith has 545 High Street stores, covering over 3 million square feet of selling space and employing 17,000 staff. Clubcard, the Company's loyalty scheme, has more than 5 million members.

Books, newspapers, magazines and stationery form the core of the High Street business. WHSmith sell more books than any other retailer in England, Scotland and Wales. For example, one in three copies of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire were bought from WHSmith in the first weekend of release. WHSmith promote new authors with their Fresh Talent showcase and also have the Thumping Good Read Award that is voted for by members of Clubcard.

WHSmith's major stores stock more than 45,000 product lines, whereas an average food supermarket carries around 10,000 lines.

WHSmith currently holds a strong market share in each of the core categories in which it trades - books, stationery, news, magazines and entertainment. WH Smith's strategy is to exploit the strength, power and potential of the WHSmith brand to provide the very best service and value for money for their customers, shareholders and wider community.
